Hey, I'm Gemma!
I'm the Head Coach at BLOC and a mum of a 1 year old and a 5 year old. I'm pro at juggling a busy life with achieving sporting goals and love helping people do this too.

I don't just coach, I love to race too.
​
I think it's important to have first hand experience, to have made mistakes and to have juggled family (through pregnancy and returning to racing) work and training to be able to coach you effectively.
​
I started my triathlon journey not being able to run a whole parkrun and built up from a run-walk strategy. I'd never have believed I'd be racing Ironman's with GB kit on or have been able to cycle the length of the UK! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
​
Whilst I am the Head Coach and Founder of BLOC, it isn't 'my' team. It's OUR team, every decision is made in collaboration with our team mates and we ebb and flow with the needs and demands of our members.
It's a pretty cool place and everyone plays a key part just by being here.
